Everyone is looking, but not many are seeing - Peter M. Leschak
I think we are living in times where we are more keen on high-contrast scenes because they are easy to navigate without using our mental muscles. I will add more to this project, including the boring things I see and how they can help us reconnect to the present.

Nothing Is Insignificant

Nothing Is Insignificant

I took this photo in my backyard with my pocket Canon PowerShot S95.
A honey bee in a quiet moment of work. We see them every day, yet rarely think about how much this small creature contributes to a stable ecosystem.
What are we seeing?
- Pollen sticks to its body hairs → pollination
- Transfers pollen between flowers → plant reproduction
- Pollinators support much of our food
